Fishermen and hunters are bracing for what could be the first big storm of the year. It’s early for this type of weather and we’ll preview what the elements may do for us as the week progresses.

We’ll head down to the Nestucca River and talk to Pat Gefre of Nestucca Valley Sporting Goods to see what early rains could do to one of the North Coast’s elite Salmon fishing Rivers. Also, G. Loomis/Shimano Pro, Terry Mulkey will fill us in on the early season Tillamook Bay action.

Scott Haugen will stop by to preview the big Deer opener in Oregon. ¬†We’ll talk about the coming conditions and what that might mean for your success. Scott’s also got his latest blog up and talks about a very close call he had in the Alaskan Bush on his most recent trip.

Plus, I’ll be talking Columbia Gorge Salmon as rivers like the Deschutes, Klickitat, White Salmon and Umatilla are enjoying some phenomenal fishing right now. It’s been good and it’s still not too late to get in on what’s been a remarkable Columbia River Fall Salmon season.
