October 25, 2013- The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

fishing reports: tillamook bay, nehalem, wilson, trask, deschutes rivers

Fishing Reports: Chehalis, Nestucca, Deschutes, Nehalem and Tillamook

Incredible is about to happen as the rivers are primed for the next rain. As we approach November, much of the Salmon fishing focus shifts from the salt to the freshwater. Salmon tend to bypass much of the early season holding water in the bays to make way for rivers that are ready for the spawn.

On this weeks show we’ll ┬ábe heading to Central Washington to speak with Bill Swann about the Coho fishing that’s been rocking for several weeks. Also, a fly fishing update from Mark Bachmann and what he’s been seeing on the Deschutes. I’ll be bringing you the latest on Tillamook County and the three systems that make up the NW’s best Salmon fishing region. All this and more on this weeks addition of the NW Outdoor Show.
